Evidence before alarm
A possible match is labeled as possible. A submitted request is not called a verified removal.
About Less Visible
Less Visible is being built to help people find exposed personal information, understand the risk, manage removal steps, and monitor supported sources over time.
Why we exist
People-search and data-broker sites use different search tools, opt-out forms, confirmation steps, and processing timelines. Even after a listing disappears, updated information can cause it to return.
That leaves individuals doing repetitive work across many companies while trying to decide which results are real. Less Visible brings those steps into one understandable process and keeps the distinction between detection, submission, and verification visible.
Founder
Field CTO · Cybersecurity Strategist · CISSP · CISM
Mike Arbrouet founded Less Visible after more than 15 years working across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and technology leadership. His work centers on helping organizations understand complex security risks and turn them into practical action.
Less Visible applies that same principle to personal privacy: show people what can be supported by evidence, explain the risk plainly, and make the next action manageable. Mike has also founded cybersecurity and community initiatives including YottaSec and Tainos CyberCon.
How we make decisions
A possible match is labeled as possible. A submitted request is not called a verified removal.
People should understand what was found, why it matters, and what happens next without learning security jargon.
Less Visible asks for identity details that help reduce false matches and support the requested privacy work.
Customers can report incorrect instructions, challenge a result, and contact a real person when something is unclear.
What Less Visible is today
Less Visible focuses on supported public-source checks, known-breach awareness, removal assistance, outcome tracking, and recurring monitoring. It is not credit monitoring, identity-theft insurance, or a guarantee that every piece of information can be found or removed.
